I went back and forth for months about which compressor to buy but ended up going with an 80 gallon SB... should last my lifetime and cover my needs. Got the air lines and regulators run recently and finally have air for blasting and painting. As someone who's never had but a dinky a compressor...

Its pretty large... about 5" wide...

I'm not sure... I can't find anything on the net in any of the pexto shear manuals... they have the same groove. Maybe some sort of stress relief? Makes a great place to sweep the trash into at any rate.
