My dad lives in one... They're constructed sort of half in and out of the ground. In my fathers case the house in a one story but 1/2 of that is actually below ground as the dirt was pushed up to make it grade away from the house.

I had the majority of today free so I got some assembly done on the Logan lathe. Got the bed installed and the head & tail on as well as the carriage and quick change assembly in place.

Picked up a new vice last weekend, 86lb 4" Parker with a mini anvil on the back. Tried it out on the workbench but not sure if its going to stay there or go live on a new work table I'm building.

UPDATE: My order did show but they never sent out the shipment notice with tracking info the order e-mail said would follow when it shipped. Nine days of limbo... not a life and death situation but I give them a C grade for this one...

Picked this up last weekend... 4", 86lb Parker. Its got a nice patina so i'll keep it and use as is.

It appears that you shouldn't do it... Ordered $28 worth of stuff they didn't have at the store when I went and 9 days later it still hasn't shipped...lol!
