Hoping to tap into the collective knowledge/experience base of the community here in asking ..... What kind of nailer (i.e. brad, framing, finishing) - and gague - would be best for getting through 3/4" MDF - into your standard 2x4 (or most any kind of wood and/or plywood)? THANK YOU MUCH...

Here are the three others that came with the same email .... just in case anyone may be interested in one of the others. The first one seems like a decent deal - though I don't really have a basis for comparison at this point. :dunno: Though, $159 down from the "regular/retail"...

EXCELLENT WORK !!! ... That's an (at least) $1000 looking workbench - probably more. (you know, if you ever advertised your services for making custom workbenches) :bowdown:

So you didn't attach a hardwood top of anything to it - as a work surface? Also, did you countersink the screws to attach the top?

Appreciate the offer, John ... but ain't got the land for a separate structure. Workin' within my existing garage space at this point - which is fine for my Home-Hobbiest/DIY purposes for now. ;)

$2000 spread over 4 yrs is not crippling at all. Sounds like the path I'm on at this point.
