I'd use combination of two things: . . . a) wax or soap on sheeting material . . . b) build custom "persuasion" blocks to pound against T&G sheeting (router or dado cut edge so it goes into whatever groove . . . . . . . . . . . i.e. . . . one pound block with female . . ...

Lights would HAVE to go . . . . too strange for sure. As for doors, they're Cali nostalgia and worth keeping for now. May not have many options with the low roof. I'd work on improving the interior of garage and deciding whether it will be insulated/heated at some future point. In meantime...

^ ^ ^ +1 Those size doors are no problem for overhead rolling steel or panel door. No way in hell would I want a slider door. My grandpa's barn with sliding doors is full of "critters" ranging from mice and rats to skunks and possums.
