Any Deals At The Pawnshop Lately?

pawnshops just take advantage of desperate people. I dont waste my time there anymore. i once saw a ryobi 14.4 volt cordless combo set, used condition for a higher price than home depot had. very arrogant people too. enjoy a flea market instead.

Thread Chaser / Restorer vs Tap & Die

i'd get a rethreading set in addition to a tap and die set. i wouldnt want to subject a nice sharp tap or die to cleaning all that rust and thread filling **** that gets on a bolt or nut. i use the rethreaders unless they just arnt doing the job. dont forget to lube it up first.

Great thread. I've found the cheapo stuff lying appropriately in the gutter at the curb. but anyway...Channelock adjustable wrench. 1/4 driver snap on swivel head ratchet. Snap On scraper, sections of chain, snap on flat blade screwdriver. Sockets here and there. I once stopped to pick up 50...

    I hate shop-vacs

Couldn't agree more. loud motors, cheap plastic hoses. Tippy. I've seen two shop vacs at the curb this week waiting for the garbage man to pick up.

    Armstrong Eliminator Ratchet System?

My set came with a 3/8 drive insert to use conventional sockets. hopefully the set you buy has the same attachment. These tools aren't as useful as they may seem and do not replace deep sockets, but for $20.00 i say why not!

Just got home from the flea. I picked up a 10"and a7" USA made vise grips. Alot of sad looking v.g.s but functionally operating. Make a friend of the tool dealers and often they cut you slack on the price
