    Aluminum Floor Jacks?

    My 65 year old hands are having trouble pulling that 3T Sears jack around over an uneven driveway, positioning is a problem too. I'd love an aluminum jack if they hold up. Have the Sears jack for over 30 years, occasional clearance issues under the newer cars.

    I snug 'em up by hand and have never had a problem unless you've forgotten to oil the gasket, you'll only do this once. Ask me how i know.. I'd be surprised to find the oil change tech reaching for a torque wrench to tighten an oil filter.

    Couldn't agree more with you. In Metro Detroit pawn shops are a rip for tools compared to say flea markets and garage sales. I've always felt that pawn shops take advantage of the sellers who may be desperate for cash.

    Nice set. Store them with a bit in the shaft to help retain the magnetism.

    As a former dealer i can tell you that Snap On generally raises its prices 4% a year.

    I was a Snap On dealer in the late 80's when the ssdmr4 came out. It was $29.00 and yes guys complained about the price.

    I like my 12v impact driver, porta band and handheld dremel style grinder. I also use a 12v vacuum. The jigsaw is nice to reach for instead of dragging out the corded one.
