    Porter Cable dead brand?

I have many PC tools from when you had to buy at an industrial distributor. Fine tools back then, the equal to Milwaukee. Their routers were very high quality. Now strictly for homeowners trying to stretch a buck and not interested in a quality tool that lasts for decades. It's a pity that they...

    Air Hammer - Tank Size

I'd be surprised if an air hammer run on your thirty gallon wasn't effective 90 plus percent of the time. I have a 20 gallon compressor and do almost all of my own mechanical work and I can't think of the last time it was a concern. Now die grinders, sanders etc are a different story.

    Opinions on Kobalt file set

If you have access to a flea market i suggest you get your files there. Nicholson, Simonds, Heller all made in the USA. You will be glad you bought them. It isn't that hard to make them pretty again. Just picked up 2 Craftsman rat tails for a song.

I bought a 41 piece set of metric drills from mcmaster-carr and they were all from Chiwandia. They are OK but i haven't pushed them hard. They don't appear to be concerned about alerting their customers about country of origin on their web site.

    Mechanics Tools and Bits Review

It's probably me being a seasoned citizen but i found Graingers web site to be a pain in the *** to navigate while I was attempting to purchase a wrench pouch. Then dealing with the sarcastic guy at customer service really added to my agro. Anyone else?

Butler Tool sockets - Owosso, MI

You're right on the money. Butler Tool supplied the big three. I have several of their sockets but accumulating anything close to a set would probably be impossible. I suppose they were used on nutrunners. I'm a flea market scrounger so the covid is really holding me back.

    Snap On Klr756a 50.00

    Stinky tools

As a child (I'm now 63), I bought my dad a Craftsman branded Excelite toolset in a small 2 piece plastic box. It smelled like vomit for DECADES. The kit is now odor free so just be patient.:)
