I agree on the counter intuiting. They did develop little dust collector bags that run off the exhaust of the tools. And they also have battery powered dust collectors with hosing (LOL).

Don’t tell Festool. They might abandon the tradesmen that choose cordless sanders connected to dust collector hoses.
