    Removing rust on a shopsmith

Have you gone to YouTube and looked at some of the videos there? The channel MyGrowthRings is full of content by Scott (who was a Shopsmith store manager in Massachusetts in years past). This is what has worked well for me in the rust removal area: use a stiff brass brush to get all the loose...

Need good wood to metal adhesive

LOL So you say, Buy once, Cry continually? The PL Premium could be a good solution. I like moisture cure urethanes. You would get a little bit of flex with a urethane.

    Marine Epoxy as flooring??

I think you might have a good idea. But you would probably need to put down the fiberglass cloth. And you might have to put marine plywood down first. I don’t think your product will work as well as the stuff designed for floors. And once you consider the work involved to epoxy a floor…. Buy...

Super quick way to grab the right socket.

I think PB Swiss (and maybe others) have some color code for nut drivers. Probably for metric sockets as well. I can see how that would be useful for techs, etc. Not for the colorblind though.

    Looking for a tool bag

I got a Klein bag that is similar, but not as large, or fancy. Amazon mark down and it had no strap (so I got them to give me back some more money). Klein makes a real sturdy bag, but layout is a very personal preference kind of thing.

    Flexzilla hose whips

What is so special about Flexilla? Amazon Hose will have a functional substitute. Maybe even a superior alternative. They can crimp on about any hydraulic or pneumatic fitting you can imagine.

Why is pegboard so disappointing? Am I doing it wrong?

Pegboard has worked okay for me. I paint it white to make it less ugly. Have some with larger holes, and some with small holes. We use it to hang some long clamps, hammers, T-square, level, rafter square. Other stuff. A lot of stuff just isn't going to store so well in drawers. You want...

Hand tool restoration challenge contest (Read post #1 for the rules)

That is not an "angle gauge". It is a bevel. It is used to transfer angle; a gauge would be used to measure. In my experience the blade would have maker name stamped on it. Rather doubt it is a Stanley.
