Leaking windows / doors - flashing installed incorrectly?

To the OP What do the yelp! reviews show for your builder? That is horrific. IMO

Fence Project- The Neigbors Think I’m Nuts

DDT actually very harmful. Just not to humans! ..... Rachel Carson's book (Silent Spring) was part of an effort that led to the outlawing of DDT use in much of the industrialized world. But she did not have science on her side. I'll be darned to admit that this is not the first time something...

Fine tooth micrometer style 1/2 flex head torque wrench options

You have some pretty high standards. I think you should just buy the SnapOn. If you look at the prices for the German brands you will likely feel that $545 is not too bad.

    Cement and winch

There is some physics involved here. But I don’t know the answer or how to get it. The install might be better if your upright is mounted to a base plate. Add to that, an I-beam might be stronger depending on what you can find. I would think that you want to go at least 24 inches deep with the...

Who makes these for Snap On?!?!

Actually NWS makes some excellent pliers that are the equal of Knipex but less money.

    O2 Sensor sockets: lets chat!

I borrowed one from Autozone back when I was really cheap. Did the trick. Not a tool that I would use often. With a C5 Corvette i have used flarenut wrench with total success.

    belt sander help

Wait a minute. Belt sander just “died”? It might be something as easy as carbon brushes. Or a switch. Did the garbage man already take it away?

Let's show off our free tools/supplies!

You guys are killing me. Had a neighbor sell his house and he gave me more pvc sprinkler fittings and spray heads than I could imagine. Gave me an electric pressure washer, and a gas powered one. And a wheelbarrow. And my wife got a raised garden frame. My buckets runneth over.

    Estate Sale Today!

You did great!! The early bird + his SUV got some nice worms! Honestly, I am not even jealous. It would take too much work for me to absorb all that and merge it into my collection. I guess when they have your estate sale there will be a lot of great stuff. LOL

Looking for dust extractor / shroud for Metabo W8-115 angle grinder

I like that hood better than the one we used. The one we used was a very thick rubber/silicon material which had a couple of attachment points that allowed for slight variation from perpendicular. Not sure the one you show would work with a cup wheel. Actually the tool we used had a big grab...

Looking for dust extractor / shroud for Metabo W8-115 angle grinder

Used one of those a few months ago. Used a cup wheel to grind some travertine. Thing had a shroud that we hooked up to shop vac. Inclined to think it is available from Metabo.

Can I lube my door locks and car locks with Triflow?

Triflow works best at higher temperatures IMO. Seems to harden up a little in the bottle below 70’. Could mean that it needs to be applied under warmer temps. Open to confirmation or alternative observations.

    Garage Opener going bad?

I had issues with a Sears opener that I eventually traced back to the sensors. In cold weather the electronic eye did not work correctly. Bought new sensors and once installed and aligned the problem resolved.

How would you rank these two types of SnapOn flarenut wrenches?

Can’t remember what I needed to disassemble, but the dang Craftsman flarenut wrench was not up to the job. The nut would not move and the wrench spread. If anyone asks me what to buy in a FN wrench my answer is SnapOn.
