As far as I can tell all of these have the button on the driver's side and clip on the passenger side of the blade. They all **** for left handed people. Is there one that's ambidextrous or at least reversible? If not I'll stick with the Stanley push-out type but it's a pain to change blades...

I think they are cheap because there's less metal and because they are rarely used. The exception being an O2 sensor socket which is always a flare. I'd spend the money on something else unless you have a specific need.

Aluminum foil can also be fashioned into a crude reflector at minimal cost. If there's a DirecTV antenna around it would be a decent form. Trial and error of course 🤖

Harsh crowd here! OP, why not try the other end - the motor assembly should have a 12" or so wire sticking out as an antenna. Try bending it up, down, or sideways to try for better reception.
