I agree with this approach. My wiring had a short circuit and the power switch wouldn't stay on, it kept tripping. It's a combination switch/breaker. I found and fixed the short and all has been good. I used Volt transformers and lights (all dark sky compliant), they seem excellent so far.

Agreed. Torx, Allen, or Phillips are all preferable to square drive. Many have a slot so you can use a standard screwdriver too.

Thanks, that was a very helpful article! If I was encountering these professionally I'd invest in the bits. Never saw them much on cars except maybe hose clamps. And those are even better with 1/4" socket drive too.
