I haven't been able to find a single one rated for 30 amps with 4 terminals. I wonder if I could use a 2 terminal on each leg?

Unless you have a pretty steeply pitched roof, and/or large rafters (2 x 12, etc.), drilling holes in the wall header may be pretty difficult, especially if the ceiling is already in place. Access will be a real pain. I'd much rather drill holes in wall and deal with a little drywall patching.

When you say it was a custom order, was it actually built to fit dimensions you specified or was it something they didn't have in stock and had to order it from a warehouse somewhere? If the latter case, I would expect HD to allow a return. If it truly is a special order per your dimensions...

Thanks, guys. I was searching on 'metal ceiling panels'. I'll try the alternates. I'm between Danbury and Norwalk and will check with a local lumber yard (Rings End). I'm not sure who does metal buildings / pole barns in this area. I think 22/24 gage is a little heavier than for my needs.

Hey guys, those of you who have used metal panels for garage ceiling, where did you buy them? I'm not having much luck finding basic interior panels in CT/Tri-State area. Did you buy them locally or have them shipped? I did search this site and didn't find too many leads.
