Speaking of which, I pulled a big chunk of the block out of the oil pan i was replacing on a ej205 late last week. best guess is someone used a bolt that was too long somewhere. but it wasnt leaking anything unusual and ran as good as a highly molested Subaru wrx runs so :dunno:

Milwaulkee makes an m12 1/4 inch impact. infact im selling a bare tool version if your interested in it. works well but i just dont use it enough. i think it would work well for trans pans etc.

I used to use it 2x a year on my jeep wrangler. owned it for around 4 years in the rust belt and saw no rust build up. bought with 65 miles on it and sold with 35k ish smells awful but worth it imo

Personally i usually buy cheap first then once it breaks i upgrade it to something more reliable. then either warrenty the other one and bring it home for home use.

i have the biggest snapon kit they offer, the 174 piece kit or w/e. I also have a full rethreading kit. guess ill be piecing together a kit then. Im aware of that kit,but it only has 1 of the sizes i use often enough to warrent purchasing.

Ill start this off with i already have the biggest set snapon/irwin offers in 1 kit. But i need some bigger taps/dies for lug studs etc. The ones i know i need are M12-1.25 tap and die as well as m14 by 1.25/1.75 taps and dies. before i buy all these as individuals i was wondering if anyone knew...
