    1956 Snap-On toolbox

Every scratch and dent tells a story. It would be a shame to restore it. You have the right idea by cleaning it and filling it up again

Another Sears Store Closing In Landover Maryland

Sears should be ashamed of themselves, you can't blame us for pointing out the obvious. They used to be the BEST company now they are a shadow of their former self selling Chinese tools under the "Craftsman" name. Tool quality has plummeted. Have you had to return a broken tool lately? Last time...

Never seen a toolbox like this

Unfortunately no dividers but I should be able to find some to adapt or just make some out of plastic or thin metal and cut slots so they interlock where they intersect (intertwine, interview, interact or any other "inter" word).

I have the same cleaner. If you are still looking for help let me know and I can rip mine apart and takes some pics to compare.

Never seen a toolbox like this

Took two people and a moving dolly to get it in the garage. It is heavy enough that when I pulled out a drawer and put all my weight on it (195lbs) the cabinet did not tip over.

Never seen a toolbox like this

The batteries and chargers are sitting on top on the cabinet, not inside. I own a 1970 MGB so I already have enough rust in my garage.

Never seen a toolbox like this

I pulled the trigger at $140. It is a really well built cabinet. The top is now my battery charging station (cordless battery chargers, battery tender for motorcycle batteries) and the ultrasonic cleaner. Each drawer height can be adjusted up and down. Each has a tab that locks the drawer in...

Never seen a toolbox like this

Thanks guys. This one looks like a vintage version of the same style design. I am on my to look at it now. For the price I figure it is worth picking up. I have lots of tools that do not get used very often. Instead of leaving them to hang on peg boards and collect dust this would allow to hide...

Never seen a toolbox like this

Kind of a neat box but not sure what the purpose is. Doesn't seem like it saves space. Was it just a concept that never caught on? Has anyone seen one, know who made them or know what they are worth?

    Garage TV Mount

Found a nice cabinet for my bench grinder/polisher

Got this Sioux grinder a few years ago but never had a good place to use and keep it. It was always just on my bench and when I needed it I had to drag it out. Sucker is pretty heavy. Today I found a great metal cabinet with stainless top. The guy selling it on CL had it listed as a "modern...

    Lets see your motorcycle lifts!

I have a HF one that I paid $100 for about a month ago. Guy selling it on craigslist said it just wouldn't work. He only had one pedal connected (the lowering pedal) and he was pumping away on it expecting it to raise. He had the other pedal, just didn't connect it. Weird people out there. I...

another toolbox followed me home today

I LOVE finding pressure washers with bad pumps. People just want to get rid of them. Picked up a few in the last couple of months. One was a high end commercial one and the pump would have been $600 to replace. Got it for free and sold then sold the 11hp Honda engine for $300. Paid $15 for...

    game changer

I work on old motorcycles so I use the impact driver just about every day. Power washer is probably my "can't live without it" tool.

    Turret style lathe

Not mine and I don't have a need for it but figured someone here might be interested. http://binghamton.craigslist.org/tls/4297008369.html

Where to buy 1/4" door tracks?

Looking to buy some plastic 1/4" door track to make some doors for my garage overhead storage. Lowes and Home Depot both had no clue, even when I showed them pictures of what I was looking for. Woodcraft carries them in wood but $20 for a 4ft section (top and bottom included). I see them online...

what to pay for this box

If he has an old box then maybe he has some old tools as well. Ask him before you go if he has anything else for sale. Then when you get there you can try to bundle a deal.

This monster belongs in my garage

I am just picturing the 1000s of feet of lumber piled up in my garage with perfectly spaced holes.
