Guess it was a good deal. Sold right after I posted it here. Maybe a GJ user got it

Is HF the only one that makes this??? A 3" electric cut off tool?

If you are just going to argue with everyone who doesn't give you the answer that you want then why bother asking the question in the first place?

This looks like a good deal on a Mac box

I don't need another box but this seems like a pretty good price. http://syracuse.craigslist.org/tls/4324442467.html

Company is supplying us the tools from now on | No more tool allowance

So I am guessing you guys won't be using many 1/8in ratchets 1oz hammers in that big boy shop. Very impressive. I always love seeing giant tools that look exactly like my normal sized tools. That jack stand for instance looks like the ones we all use at home just 50 times the size.

    Am I a Craig's list wishful thinker?

I agree 100%. Seems like bait and switch to me and I always flag those ads. You might do better listing them each individually. But I think as others have said the prices are going to scare away most people. The S&K prices seem really high just because they are such an old style. Make sure you...

Is HF the only one that makes this??? A 3" electric cut off tool?

Looks like you decided you really "needed" this tool when you saw the HF version. Now that you find out that only HF makes it you don't want it anymore. Don't blame HF for being the only company willing or able to fill this need. "I really want a Ram truck but I want it to be reliable and well...

Help ID spark plug gap tool??

Some old tools still work great today but this will not be one of them. I wouldn't trust it to gap the plugs on my car or bikes. Pick up new one from Autozone for $2.99 and at least you will know the measurements will be correct.

Finally found a Craftsman 150 DP

The car is a 70 MGBGT. No third pulley unfortunately but I doubt I will have a need for it anyway.

Finally found a Craftsman 150 DP

Been looking for a nice vintage drill press for a while, the 150 specifically. Finally found one about 10 days ago on CL but the seller never replied to me. I sent him probably 5 messages and figured he had already sold it. Out of the blue last night I get a call the the dp is still for sale...

    Motorcycle Axle Nut Wrench?

Maybe it is because I take very good care of my bike and do good preventative maintenance before long rides. Maybe I am just lucky but in all the bikes I have owned (literally hundreds because I flip them as a side job) I have never had to replace or fix a tire on the road. I have had a few...

    Motorcycle Axle Nut Wrench?

I carry a cell phone. If I get a flat it is not like I going to change it on the side of the road. Certainly not going to take the rear wheel off and leave the bike sitting on it's center stand on the side oft he road. Who is going to take me to the tire store anyway? Just call a flat bed

    Nice little score today

I doubt I would ever use them so they will go into the pile of things being donated to our community tool thrift store.

    Nice little score today

Added some pictures. The 15in Williams are really thin, only 1/8th in. I wonder what they were originally used for, appliance repair maybe?

The HF powder coat gun test

Clear is not really needed for powder coating because it is already for durable than paint. The sell uv resistant powder for outdoor use if you are worried about sun damage.

    Nice little score today

$10 got me all of these. The long wrenches are 15in Williams Superwrench A100,A100B, A100C and A100D. Some brake wrenches which I really needed. Then some random wrenches that will be useful, well maybe not the weird "universal" wrenches. Pretty happy to pay $10 plus it was only about 15 minutes...

The HF powder coat gun test

I have used the HF system for about 10 years and countless parts and here are a few things I have learned. 1) HF powder is ****. Get powder from eBay. Much better quality and 1000's of color and texture options. 2) You need to heat the part before spraying but it has nothing to do with helping...

    Cheap Husky screwdrivers at Ollies

My local Ollies bargain outlet had 3/8 x 8in flat and #2 8in philips Husky screwdrivers for $2.99 each. Pretty damn cheap for rubber grip, American made and lifetime warranty. Back says they were originally sold at Home Depot.

For the new mechanics; Here's some helpful tips from Stokes.

Nice to get tool advice from someone who has been in the field for a "few months". Kind of like the 16 year old who tells you that you are driving wrong.
