Thanks guys, i enjoy seeing pictures of other builds as well. Some great ideas and mods have come from this site. In regards to the building behind my garage it is an Elementary school that is being built , due to open 2012 (maybe).

This past Turkey Weekend I was able to get the garage painted up and finish a few loose ends, ie Window casings n trim, garage primed and painted and also got the lights installed .

Re: Floresent lights I,m doing mine 6ft from wall. center row, and then another 6ft from wall . I,m running 9 x 8ft t8's from Lowes.

Recently finishing the framing on my garage we had to go with 2 X 6 walls as per code for Alberta, I have a 12 ft ceiling and truss span is 25ft.

Got the walls up on the weekend between the rain and thunder storms. Front wall is done I just need to take an updated picture. My friend and I will hopefully get the trusses onto the walls this evening and then tomorrow assemble trusses and hopefully get some sheathing on. cheers, Parrish

That's a killer price compared to what I recently got quoted to have the gas line run from house to garage. What is your total length required for piping? With me my total distance was 98ft whch may contribute to the higher quote of $1534.00.. I,m still entertaining more quotes to compare...
