You could look for used also. My 10k rotary was 2500. Like new, used residentially and came with both unibody and truck spin up adapters. I had to take it down but it only took a couple of hours with 2 friends and a ladder but it made it easier to reinstall.

I would skip the flux core only welders and get something at least capable of using shield gas. Some of the newer inverter welders are multi process - they do flux core, mig, stick and basic tig.

You are going to have to find out how high the ceiling is and thickness of the concrete. If you have enough of both I would suggest trying to find a used lift used by a homeowner. My rotary I bought was practically new.

Agree with everyone else - the bubble insulation is a waste of time. I would put fiberglass bats in the wall and blow in the ceiling.

Exactly what I did. Fiberglass in the walls, plywood on walls, 5/8 sheetrock on ceiling, blown in ceiling. Spray foam is nice but 2k vs 20k and the 18k difference buys a lot of energy.

I ran 2x4's 24" on center horizontal and then fiberglass bats. Gave me something to attach the walls to.

I have a rotary 10k lift and have had a newer crew cab duramax on there several times without issue. Screw jacks front and rear to stabilize are a must but that is true for all pickups and longer vehicles.

Personally I would just mount the charger outside as long as it is rated for it. There are a whole lot of chargers that live outdoors with no issue.
