Nice utilization of your space. My brother had a 71 Yenko Vega in the 70's, and I had a 75 Cosworth Vega in the 80's. I finally sold the last of the Vega parts (fiberglass hood and a full front bumper) just about 6 or 7 years ago after hanging around my mom's garage forever.

Most likely not. Most modern vehicles circulate through the heater core at all times (though some may have shutoff valves for improved A/C performance). I don't know for that particular vehicle. Regarding bearing damage, I would not run the vehicle until you drain the oil pan and check it in...
