How are you going to protect the holes that you drill in the galv tubing?

Does anyone have the full version of Fusion 360 that wouldn't mind converting an F3D to DXF for me? I need one file and don't feel like the ~$70/mo would be a good bang for the buck investment at this time.

Created a new holder for the HF nut drivers if anyone is interested in the STL. I had to print the unit in two pieces and then I'll epoxy them together. My big printer is on the fritz and my small one is only 6x6x6. The STL is one solid piece.

Saw a guy take a three jaw chuck key to the family jewels in HS shop one time. He was not well afterwards.

On a lathe chuck I would always tighten all the key holes, regardless of number. I've carried that over the to the drill press to some extent.

I guess I'm the odd man out, I'll tighten one hole well, then move to the next hole counter clockwise and give it a snug, then let 'er eat.

I saw that one, but the 'usually ships' line had me questioning whether it was in stock or not. That phrase coupled with my inability to find it anywhere under any P/N made me suspicious. Has anyone purchased from tool source with success?

A lot of the older hardware that I tinker on/with is this way. Not so much on more modern stuff.

I hate to be 'that guy' but once you factor in time, fabrication materials, parts, testing and possibly screwing something up, $300 isn't that bad of a deal for proven tech.

I have that same set. Here is my solution.

I didn't realize there was an adjustable wrench thread, if a mod wants to fold this one into that one it might simplify things ever so minutely.

Soil conditions have a lot to do with this as well. Not good to have a basement in a soil that moves a lot, which we have here in NE Tx. It can be done, but is cost prohibitive in our soils. Cheaper to build out/up than down.

I painted my son's go-kart with that same paint. Had to use a primer under it and then 2-3 very wet coats, so wet that we had runs in some places. It's not the best paint job, but it's a go-kart so it's no big deal.
