1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Good thing they didn't have vasopressors running in that IV, you would have lost your arm. I worked in a hospital for 42 years, some people are good at what they do and some are not. Some care a great deal about what they do and some don't. You don't know which one you're going to get. There are...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

I think that's the same one, I've had it for years and used it pretty hard, wore out the gun long ago and bought a better one. I use a gold panning screen to reuse the black diamond, it fits right on a 5 gallon bucket. I have a huge like 40 ft tarp from HF that catches it all.

My Harbor Freight blaster won't do anything except fine, it'll plug right up.

I just retired this month after 42 years hospital work. It is pretty great not having an end point to wrap up projects for the work stretch.

You are an animal! Wish I had half your energy. Blasting in the heat with a hood on is brutal, and so is collecting and filtering and reloading all the media. I remember you talking about leaving this one alone and just making it drivable, we knew you couldn't do that. It's going to be like a...

You might appreciate this project I did in the late 90's. I put a Suzuki DR350 into a Kawasaki KX125 frame. Had to build the front and bottom part of the frame including an oil reservoir that was part of the down tube. The motor was bored out to a 435, it was a torque monster. I rode the hell...

I had an RD350, I think it was a 75, had the front disc brake. Someone had put expansion chambers on it and man when it hit it's powerband it was like a light switch, soft and all of a sudden crazy pull and the front wants to come up. I really enjoyed that bike.

That bike looks great! I had a few Yamahas back in the 70's and 80's, really loved them, all 2 strokes.

I've had a fair amount of catalyst go bad once it's opened. If it's been long enough it's not made anymore and you can't get it period. I've got a gallon of paint that's useless, that's worth a lot of money now days. You've got thousands of dollars worth of paint in that cabinet.

You're experiencing what I did with the Camaro pictured. After driving the heck out of it for almost 20 years I restored to to perfection, doing everything myself. I no longer enjoyed driving the car, I just worried about it. Couldn't park it anywhere and not worry. Worried on the freeway...

I've been using the Upol high build primer and it's pretty nice stuff and way cheaper than most. Using their filler too, not as good a Evercoat but so much cheaper I can live with it just fine.

When I was a teen I drove my dad's sixties Mercury, the one with the slanted back window that opens. It had a 390, I loved that motor. It was so smooth and torquey.

Just one of those projects would be overwhelming, you are truly a maniac! I've been working on my Stude truck for 6 years with no end in sight and that's just one project.
