i have the 18 volt stuff i use at home for bigger jobs but at work (appliances /kitchens) i carry a 12 volt....good size to fit in cabinets,its light, and has enough power to drill occasional holes...i outgrew the 9.6 at work because it couldnt handle driving lags AND drilling holes back to...

brand new dewalt 9.6s can be found under $100 w/ 2 batteries and the charger....i work on the road and spares of chargers and a drill come in real handy ...that being said i would buy a new kit and have spares and get the batteries rebuilt as a bday or xmas gift...

x's 2 i had no idea of the difference ,i just thought some hammer drills were better.... my Bosch sds+ drill is so much fun to use.:thumbup:

anybody have any info on that style torch?? my grandfather had about 15 of them when he died and my g-ma wanted them all thrown away for some reason but i took 2 of the nicer ones with brass tanks and im not sure what ever happened to the rest.... i know he used them for removing old flooring...
