I think HD killed the deal or it ended. Yesterday I was able to add the die grinder as a free tool right from the battery kit on HD. Showed as $99 total and now it's full price for the die grinder. Guess I shouldn't have waffled about on this one.

I was looking for the Flex branded Lboxx adapter earlier this year but most places where out of stock. I got a Nilfisk 107413551 from zoro; it fit like it should. Looks like price is up another $10 since April.

I think pushing would be the wrong motion here. The lower jaw (sticks out from the table) is static and doesn't move. The dynamic (jaw closest to the wall) moves out around static. The ram is fully retracted now. Try pulling the dynamic jaw out while pumping the right peddle.

I have been doing a few of my handle-less files with golf balls. They seem to work better on the shorter tag files or else they feel a bit awkward. The ones I drilled out were solid pink rubber in the core... no rubber bands or mystery liquid.

Some pretty resourceful posts in this thread, here's my little repurpose. Found a pair Sorel boots with cracked lowers in the closet... trimmed one up and sewed the edges to make a leather sheath for this Collins Co hatchet.

It is definitely $299.99 in the email the OP is referencing. Although if you look at the picture it looks more like the TECH-MCT than the TECH-PAC from last year; strap handle versus the hard handle. There MCT pac retails for more like $180, so that might be the price difference.
