This is what I use as well. Works great and gives a nice sturdy surface to brush the brush against to remove excess paint. I can see the tape method working really well for smaller can and probably stain which is usually the smaller cans.

I roll mine and then zip tie them to keep them together for the less used ones and then the ones that are kept in the vehicles for the un planned uses I'm still resorting to untangling the mess after they come out of the storage bag.

Noticed my belt was about to fall off while switching clearance inserts so I pull the top and found the set screw on the motor pulley had backed out slightly. Got that sorted out and then took the time to check everything over and lube all the appropriate places before putting the top back on.

Yup the pvc is so it will drift. Without it out the trike won't steer at all. Not sure about stinking I'm moving fast enough that I don't notice it if it does.
