I bought those exact same tracks from LOWES last year! I ordered two 12 foot sections. Lowes ordered them and I had them within the week. I think I would try them again. BTW, they were dirt cheap from Lowes!

??? Sorry, I don't understand this. The unit has an electronic ignition, so I don't know why the thermocouple has to be hot first for the valve to work. Do you think it won't turn because I don't have a propane tank hooked up to it?

Only the outer ones are - I guess for rigidity purposes. All of the inner ones are **** joints, held together with three screws each. I must have spent close to $60.00 in just screws..
