Looking more like something! Had to ballast crane, heavy load! Finally! In frame. From the rear. Going to be tight. Hits governor cover. Headers. Had to lift engine to fit both. Very snug fit. Will have to install starter before header! CT

Correct. B&M Trick Shift is basically "Type F" transmission fluid, dyed blue. CT

@OutlawDrifter , I like your thinking 🤔 Got some horsepower and tweerks. Plan to run an external cooler in series with radiator cooler. They mentioned synthetic "Type F" if I wanted it firmer. I'll keep the Type F in the Mustang and power steering pumps.

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT A new lease on life: 30x40 schoolhouse conversion

Freezing propane regulator or governor not allowing full RPM (3600)? Low fuel supply will cause lower RPM. I do not know how LPG behaves when it get that cold. Are you using vapor or liquid propane at the generator? CT

Transmission components... 10" custom converter from PATC in Bossier City, Louisiana. They build their own converters in-house. Can stall from 2000-6000. 2800-3000 stall for my build specs. Stage 3 PATC built C6 transmission. CT

Progress made. Starting on power train installation. Flexplate to Crank bolts. ARP lube and Loctite 243. SFI flexplate. Made a "whoopsie!" Forgot the damn separator plate... *facepalm* Removed flexplate. Cleaned all parts. Reapplied lube and Loctite 243. Retorqued bolts to 80 ft/lb...

New 5025 Sq Ft Shop LED light layout DISAPPOINTING update. See pg 2

Agree with, Bert. Bad driver, or burnt traces or wiring. Rarely is it actually the LED's themselves. Have seen "hot spots" burnt on the LED boards from bad solder joints. CT

New 5025 Sq Ft Shop LED light layout DISAPPOINTING update. See pg 2

Sorry to hear. But this is sadly, typical. The LEDs themselves can reach 50k hours. The drivers are what seem to fail. Few years ago we relamped our plant with round UFO style LED fixtures. Major brand name. About 1300 fixtures, 277v. They randomly die completely or partially. I still feel the...

This is my first VEVOR purchase. Bought direct from their website. Shipped from NJ in 4 days. Eyeballing a metal dry cut saw they have for $230'ish. So far, I believe it is good quality. Seems heavy duty. I wonder if they are all made overseas and rebranded? Depending on brand, depends on...

This was my thought too. I work in manufacturing, we call this "Poke-Yoke" engineering. It is a method developed by the Japanese at Toyota. American manufacturing adopted it later. CT

Update! Front brakes done! New tool. Ready for action! Practice flare on new tubing. Almost had an oopsie! Forgot the flare nut! Now we are cooking with gas! Why? Was this Ford's 1975 version of a Poke-Yoke manufacturing? Every fitting to proportional valve was a different...

Early January Louisiana got cold few weeks ago! Climate change? Nah... Happens once or twice a decade. Pond froze. Roads covered in freezing rain and black ice, was interesting. Saw this at an intersection. Wet and cold those few days. Had SPINNERS! CT

Diesel pump crapped out. Bought 105 gallon tank and pump at an auction almost 20 years ago. 24" RIGID pipe wrench was an auction score also. Transfer pumps are EXPENSIVE! $500-$1000 for name brands. Rolled the dice. About $230 for the kit from VEVOR. The mail order Harbor Freight... Old...
