Installing GFCI Breaker/finding the neutral wire

I feel the same way. That's partly why I wanted to write it out to "disconnect the jumper" before turning power on, so I can use it as check list and not forget to do it.

Installing GFCI Breaker/finding the neutral wire

Wouldn't installing a jumper across the hot and neutral at a receptacle be doing the same thing in my case? The panel hot wire goes to the receptacle - the jumper connects it to the neutral wire at the receptacle - the neutral wire goes back to the panel, making one complete wire that can be...

Appleton ReElite RL10/11 - anyone rewire or restore?

Thanks for the pics MJK. I saw the slots on mine and figured it had something to do with locking in place, but mine does not have the pin - but it looks like the holes are there for it so maybe I'll try to make something up that will work

Ground Rod Clamp with 2 Clamps for Armored Cable

Anyone know where to get a ground rod clamp that has a clamp on both sides for armored cable? Looks just like this one https://www.homedepot.com/p/RACO-1-2-in-1-in-Bronze-Ground-Clamp-C6BAG1R/202941353 except it has an armored clamp on both sides of the wire clamp, for a continuous wire run...

    Tray Cable

I'll verify that it is THWN before we give it a go, is the conduit fill effected since the 4 wires are in a jacket? The plan is to use 1 1/4", should I step up to 1 1/2"?

    Tray Cable

Is tray cable ok to use for residential? Buddy got some cheap from a job leftover and wants to use it for a sub panel in a detached garage. It would go from the main through 60' of conduit (20' buried in rigid). https://www.wireandcableyourway.com/4-3c-thhn-pvc-tray-cable-with-ground

Connecting 4g wire to 12g wire

The NM is in the crawl space The panel isn't permitted and is missing the 2 grounding rods. The garage is also dry walled - I'm figuring its cheaper/easier to gut it and add the terminal blocks than to run ground cable through the walls and add grounding rods.

Connecting 4g wire to 12g wire

I am trying to figure out how to connect 4g wire to 12g wire in house wiring Situation: Looks like someone was planning to install a sub panel in the garage, but never finished- -The sub panel is in the garage wired with both hots to the breaker legs, and has a neutral and ground to there own...

    Floor drain grating

Not sure if this is the right place to ask: I am looking for a floor grate to cover the walk way in front of a crawl space (exactly like the one in the pic) Seems like something that would be a standard size and easy to find, but I'v tried googling all kinds of things and couldn't come up with...

Appleton ReElite RL10/11 - anyone rewire or restore?

I just came in possession of the same reel. Does yours ratchet lock in place? On mine, the cord always retracts unless i hook it to something. The old sales flyer says it has the option to ratchet lock, but I can't figure out how to activate it. Any ideas?
