    New garage, insulated doors?

I just put in 2 Clopay 9208 doors. 12X14 each. Without the doors my fully insulated garage was just as hot as outside (this was within the last couple of months so it's been pretty hot mostly). When they came to put the doors in, the manufacture only sent one door so the installation company...

    Run capacitor size question

So my current dual run capacitor is 70-10uF +- 10% 370VAC 50/60hZ Looking online I can get a 70-5uF or 7.5 370VAC The 10uF's seem harder to come by. So I guess the general question is...is it OK to use a lower MFD?

    Propane Infrared Radiant Heater Info.

At my work we sell propane heaters and some electric heaters like those but they are very strictly rated for outdoor only. Not sure you are going to find one for those type of heaters.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Loaded up the F350 and hauled down 28 sheets of 1-1/8” T&G for my mezzanine. Ok...I hired some day laborers to do the heavy lifting. Finally got a pic of a couple of my cars in the garage.

Cliff notes on lighting a 50x60

Save on cost but kind of wish I didn't. I ended up pulling a couple of the metal studs and putting in wood to make it stronger for the workbench.

Cliff notes on lighting a 50x60

My shop is 40X60X20. Just in the beginning phases of getting the inside setup. As I am doing most of my work at night getting some basic lighting up quickly was necessary. I have a about 10" wide girts running at about 7'6" all around the inside. I took some 4' LED lights and laid them upside...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Ford garage - 40X60X20

For various reasons I’ve had a rather large pile of trash sitting outside my new garage for a while. So I decided to put some of the wood that came with the building when it was delivered to good use. A **** load of big wood that I figure I could make my first workbench out of. Put some vintage...

Advice on running conduit in long runs

So it sounds like I did mine all wrong. My building is 60X40. My panel is on one corner of the 60' wall. I ran 12/2 from the panel, down 60' then along the 40' section with a bunch of outlets in between. Sound like I should redo at least the 60' section to 10/2.

When are too many bins and drawers enough?

We used to own a place out in the country and love to go out "pickin" at garage sales. This one guy basically had a hardware store setup in his garage. He said he picked up most of it when a local-ish hardware store went out of business. I asked if he was willing to sell me some of his storage...

Picked up this Craftsman rolling chest today

Perfect. These pictures and info are exactly what I needed. I just emailed the person on the craigslist add to see if they could send me some pictures of how the door opens and rolls back so I can make one. Awesome info!

Picked up this Craftsman rolling chest today

I'm thinking about just cleaning it up instead of a full resto. Also get/make any missing parts to get it fully functioning again. I really like the used look of it.
