I would like to have that to store all my gas cans in. I don't like to keep them in the garage, and while I now store them under an open shed, it would be nice to lock them up. (I had a full can stolen a couple years ago.)

Get clear on the cost per foot to drill PLUS the cost for casing through mud, etc. Don't be hit by surprise about the casing.

I had mine on one day while working in the garage. Went out for parts, and when I returned, I was hearing a really bad noise. Found out the compressor had thrown the belt, and the motor was running wide open nonstop. Luckily I had only been gone for an hour or so. The motor was pretty hot, but...

You need to have existing utilities marked. It would not be fun to bore into a buried power or gas line.......

OOPS just re read the OP. I didn't catch the 45 degree bevel part.

Why not just use 1x4's for this? Save the work of ripping, and probably not cost a lot more.....
