Is this a private garage or a commercial building? You may not be allowed to use plywood because it is considered a combustible material. Probably best check with your local code inspector.

If you don't mind them a bit large, try finding some old Mopar hub caps with the centers that unbolt. I have a set of Pentastars from an 80's Chrysler I have been holding on to. Also from a 70's Dodge, I have a couple with the Dodge "Fratzog". It would be really cool to get some 3 prong spinners...

The aluminum trim was nailed over fresh lumber that has dried and shrunk a bit. Was it treated lumber?

I work a lot in the older parts of our city. Some of these neighborhoods were pretty nice in their day, but are in a more "blighted" condition now. I always liked these type attached carports on some of the houses. Back when they were new, they may have sheltered a nice new Model A. Or maybe...

Careful if you find some old used ones. The glazing putty is probably high in concentration of asbestos....

Probably had the trim coil applied over treated lumber which was still "wet". It tends to shrink up as it dries out, which will buckle the metal trim.

I recently jacknifed and ruined my coupler. I bought a replacement from etrailer.com. no problems and the angle matched perfectly. There seems to be s standard angle used in the trailer industry.

Home Depot used to stock outswing doors. (But that was my experience years ago.) Just reversing a standard door makes the threshold funnel water into the building. Plus, anyone can just drive out 3 hinge pins to remove the slab. Instant access! ;)

I had one peck a 2" hole high up in the gable end side of my cedar house last year. I couldn't get rid of him, until I used a snake shot in a .38 special. That "discouraged" him, and no more problem. (Except for the ugly aluminum patch on my house)

That would be a load bearing wall. Looks like the header was undersized and someone tried to reinforce it with the flitch plate later. Hard to be sure with these pictures, but I would be very wary. Do you get much snow load on the roof?
