Sounds like you fixed your problem, if you see it come back you can have a look at what WiFi channel your router is communicating on. On most, you can manually set the channel on the band that the cameras are using (2.4 or 5 Ghz). Need to pick one that wont interfere with the neighbours...

Attached garage 450sq ft, heated with baseboards 4000w. Keep it around 12 C (~55F) and turn it up to around 18 C (65F) when I plan to be in there. Added cost about $30 / month for Dec to Feb, so my estimate is just over $100 per year to heat. Ottawa Ontario.

I swapped out oil furnace and hw tank with propane about 7 years ago now. Put in a 1000 gal tank that I get filled once in late summer. First 5 years my heating bills were cut in half compared to oil. Prices have gone up the last few years but still cheaper than oil. And I gained some space...

I use a combination of the Intermatic timer for outdoors and a bunch of x10 modules inside to switch Christmas lights. I've thought about getting something more up to date, but meh. This works fine!

I'm not an expert but 75psi seems awfully high for a well pump. Have you sourced a pump yet and checked max ratings? Its been a while since I looked into it, I recall 60 psi was a common max cutoff.

Sounds like a good idea. I think you would need to consider how high the winch/square tube will extend from the slab, if too high the lever effect could bend the tube at the slab (depending on load and tube size of course).

There was an old article in Fine homebuilding that I followed when doing my basement. Same as what a few folks mentioned - styrofoam direct to the walls, then stud a wall in front of that. You lose a bit of floor space this way but a great method for a basement, and you have room in the walls...

Or if you have a basement and have some extra room, drail the fuel and store it down there.

Went through similar issue a few years back with my genie screw drive. Had to inch up the lift force setting more and more for it to open. More investigation showed it was my 20+ year old garage door - thought it was opening up fine on its own, but on closer investigation, some of the steel...

Earlier this year I got rid of an older husky upright that would wake the dead, and replaced it with a 2 gal quiet husky. Sits on a shelf now, so I gained some floor space, and man this thing is quiet! I love it. Obviously I dont use a lot of air tools with a 2 gal, but this thing perfectly...
