Horrific new slab pour, PROPER corrective action advise needed!

Without any question....i'd be forcing them to tear it out & re-do it. If that was my place, i'd be so pissed off every time I walked in & had to look at it that i'd want to burn the whole mess down.

    Garage Door Gaps

I'd say put regular insulated sectional garage doors on it. Those roll-up doors are probably not meant for a climate controlled garage

I don't use self etch, but I put epoxy primer on everything bare steel.

    Pneumatic Flange Tools

I don't have experience with the specific brands you listed, but I'd think 16 gauge would be really pushing it to get a nice flange. It seems hard to get a nice even flange with those types of flange tools, even on 18 or 20 gauge. 16 could be welded with little chance of warping it as...

Hmmm...paint in an aerosol can or not paint at all...or hire someone

you can buy the purple spraygun from harbor freight for less than $10 bucks & it sprays well if you want to spray it (& that's coming from a professional painter with 2 expensive Sata's)

    Pexto 622 Bead Roller

A Manual bead roller makes it hard to get straight consistent beads. Powered makes it much more controllable.

What’s shop life like with a high cfm compressor?

Sandblasting & bodyshop related work needs lots of cfm. I bought a 7.5hp 80gal 32 cfm compressor right away. I wasn't going to waste $$ on one that was too small. Biggest cfm & gallon you can find is ideal. The only way I could go bigger is if I had 3phase

    Should I start welding

BUY IT! (unless you'll never have any use for it) If you are welding outside a lot & on old rusty stuff, a stick welder might be a good choice. If you plan on welding mostly clean steel inside a building, definitely buy a MIG. Personally I wouldn't want a flux core wire welder, but it...

Paint Booth - Painting a Jeep

Hang up some plastic & put a fan in one side & a filtered opening on the other end. The harbor freight purple gun is ok if you only plan on painting one vehicle. Go to your local autobody / auto paint supplier for materials.

Painting Tool Box White - Which Paint To Use?

If you can spray, I'd use an automotive single stage urethane for the best durability

    American made inverter welder?

I drive past the Miller welding plant in Appleton Wisconsin every day. There's no way they'd have a complex that big if they weren't building welders there

tri-mix - impossible in a small bottle. SS welding

Ideally I'd suggest that be TIG welded. If you aren't able to TIG, could you tack it together & take it somewhere to have it welded? That might be easier / better than trying to get the right tank for your welder

Baileigh MPS-1 compared to other imported throatless shears

There's nothing wrong with Baileigh industrial items. I've been at the baileigh store / warehouse & took a metalshaping class there. The yellow equipment is made in Two Rivers, Wisconsin & is extremely high quality. I believe a lot of the blue equipment is imported . built to Baileigh...
