So I went to Sears yesterday...

The only surprise in all of that is that you found a Sears. I go between two of the largest cities in the country, and in both all but one has closed.

Tools to demolish a shingled carport that's collapsed on a car?

Get the car out, then use whatever means you lifted the roof by to cut the one meaningful support left and lower roof to ground. Remove shingles. Cut fascia, ridge and plywood between rafters from one side of roof to the other and let the truss slices fall over flat to ground. Use sledge to...

    School Me On Blending Paint!

The intent of that is to minimize the sharp line, but it doesn't really do much, especially compared to using blending solvent and working over a large area. It might help taper the edge of the basecoat, but you would still need to distribute the clear over a wider area.

    Craftsman wrenches made in France

Chinese knockoffs of those are all over ebay. I bought one (wrench, not a set) for almost nothing (a few dollars, including the shipping from China !!!!).

Best 5" variable speed angle grinder under $200?

I've used chainsaw cutting wheels on mine in tight, tricky situations, in which case control is a must.

Do you still use a breaker bar ?

I think the more appropriate question is "Do you still use a ratchet, given that you have breaker bars and air/cordless tools"?

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Has cellulitis been ruled out? That would be my first guess based on what you say and show. If it hasn’t, it needs to be pursued, as it is very dangerous.

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Do something besides a naturopath. They don't have the chops to deal with something like that. It's like trying to slay a dragon with a flyswatter. A functional medicine doc is what you need, although they generally aren't covered by insurance either. Lab tests probably would be, though.

Limited Time/Garage Journal Only: BOGO Nano Pinless Impact Universals

Chris: Amazon has somehow bungled my order for the metric swivels in the BOGO deal, sending it on a tour of the Amazon distribution systems in New Jersey and Kentucky. They have now decided to cancel that order and send a new one, with a delay of two to four weeks. They show an alternate...

Selling a Quality Item on CL

This. I know someone who drove halfway across the country for a box, because it was just the box he wanted, the deal justified it, and he wanted to get out of the house for a bit anyway. You never know what abilities to pick things up exist out there. I've had people from out of state buy...

Limited Time/Garage Journal Only: BOGO Nano Pinless Impact Universals

Amazon decided to ship the metrics I ordered off to Timbuktu rather than to me. Then, once they discovered their mistake, they decided to return them to Amazon, rather than to me. Now they are saying they may decide to fulfill my order.....or not!

Did Home Depot stop selling Gear Wrench?

Here is a thread about a trial between Gearwrench and Milwaukee to see which brand will prevail in the stores. Perhaps Gearwrench lost. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=414455&highlight=home+depot+gearwrench

    You will be amused

Sadly, the Q/A's on the 55 gallon barrel of "Personal Lubricant" don't hold a candle to those of the banana slicer and gummy bears. :-( Those are something!

    You will be amused

There are some great Questions/Answers scattered around Amazon, especially on certain types of products. The Poulan 5020 chainsaw has a thorough (and enlightening) discussion about how effective it is for killing zombies. I'd never thought seriously about that before....
