I have a free flow polypropylene flooring in my garage. It is great in winter as the melt goes through the flooring so you are not stepping into dirty puddles around the car.

My garage door seals look like a flattened tube. My doors face west, predominate direction of summer storms and I have never had water come in.

I have an open grid floor too. Great in the wintertime, all the water and dirt go through so you don't walk in it. When dry I use the 'old' carpet vacuum to clean the garage floor. It ***** all the stuff up through the grid. The rotating brush cleans the top of the floor too.
