I'm thinking of going with the Racedeck FreeFlow. But I'm stumped on the mechanics of how landscape fabric can reduce the noise level of the floor? I would think it would be the connections that are making noise. Can someone explain that? I can see how it might improve the looks of the open...

Thanks Justin...there is no wall...there are 2 garage doors..one on north end of garage and one on south end...a drive thru garage...that's my issue....I'll either be short or long if I have full tiles on each end

Well I did try the Milwaukee compact M18 drill and it was comfortable. I just didn't see many of their other tools that had that small of a grip. They also have a combo kit with a circular saw for 299...

Yes I believe they were the sub compact ones I tried. It had a smaller battery. The tools with the larger batteries get quite a bit heavier. So I'm not clear...do the compact batteries work in all the 18V tools? I assume they just don't last as long?

Well I don't have the Dewalt drill in front of me but looking at the pics online, I believe it is the 12v. I have 2 batteries but I don't think one is recharging. Is that a good enough system to build on or would I need to step up to 18 or 20v?
