What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Well, I learned that no matter how many times you see the same answer on the internet to a question, that doesn’t mean it’s right. Maybe my search terms weren’t 100% correct, but everything I saw said the the oil capacity was 2 quarts for the mule we have. Found out today that wasn’t true as the...

Returned the broken parts for my flf936 to the rep and grabbed a spark plug gapper. Yeah, it’s just a lang with a different handle, but my reps been a great guy. I’ll probably get a couple more for the house and give one to my dad.

Changed the oil and filters in the mule and the zero turn. Realized we need some big fans to do anything in there when it’s hot and there’s no wind.

Unpopular opinion - mayhew prybars are just ok

I volunteer to do some testing if anyone wants to send me prybars :ROFLMAO: My dad has a set of the old red handled craftsman and I’ve got the old style snap on striking bars, but I keep those at home and haven’t really used them. Need to take them out to the ranch to use when we split the...

    Everybody's got some Snap-On...

We used to do all of our own car maintenance when I was a kid because we were poor. Dad had a box full of craftsman tools and he got me one of those 7,829 piece sets. Over the years I ended up losing 7,820 pieces of that kit and just started taking my cars to have everything done. As prices for...

I would've just stripped all the chrome off the old one and blued it, but I’m sure he didn’t know beforehand they’d replace it with a blue point. It’ll probably do the job just fine, but they could’ve sent an updated snap on version instead.

I just enjoy pulling them apart and cleaning them. I did find that the flf936 is going to need a rebuild soon. Found a couple shards in it and the engagement doesn’t look to be the best.

I didn’t feel like digging everything from the past month out so I grabbed a few things. None of it’s in brand new condition, but it was cheap. Let my dad borrow the missing flip socket for some equipment work. The snap on lady foot is a little bent, but for $3 it’ll be fine. Best deal would...

I’ll have to gather everything I’ve gotten lately tomorrow to get some pics, but I finally had an issue with a snap on ratchet. I had a snap on 1/4” flex head that I got years ago and the soft grip started slipping off easily so I took it to the truck to see what could be done. At first the rep...

Did people used to **** on dipped handle pliers when first came out and everything was bare metal?

I wanted the metal handled ratchets for nostalgia until I started using a friends soft grip ratchets and switched to all hard and soft handled. Then I was doing some work out in the fields with soft grip ratchets and the handles kept falling off and rotating due to the heat and it was only...

Snap On F80 seized faceplate screws

Call snap on and tell them that you need a new faceplate since it had to be drilled out and you damaged it in the process. They’ll likely send it for free and once you get it drill out the screw heads on the old one and remove the rest of the screws with a pair of pliers after letting it soak a...

Blue point 35” five drawer cart questions

Well, I did end up getting it. Turns out a piece of one of the foam drawer liners was stuck in the mechanism causing it to not release. Found a 6mm stud pulling socket and a bunch of other random stuff underneath the drawers. Ended up putting it in our laundry room to get rid of my tiny home...

SUPER Thin Wall 14mm Spark Plug Socket Needed - Anyone with a lathe? Will pay!

I’ll buy all kinds of ridiculous stuff, but that’s way too much for just one socket. Also, I wish I had OPs problems :ROFLMAO:. Most guys that buy these cars aren’t doing the work themselves anyway so I’m sure it’s not making them much, if any, profit.
