that blocking on the top plate, is that for the trusses?

i was thinking with one of these on the tractor i could lift 20' vertical. so i could sling off the top plate and lift it up into place.

i used the forks to stand these 10' tall walls. but it doesnt reach high enough for 16'

got some insulation on and backfilled. this will be the way it stays till early spring when the framing starts. 44x64. the insulation section on the inside of the foundation is for the heated section.

Well after a long summer of being busy with other projects, I finally got a local guy to come in and scrape the topsoil off and level out the future pad and parking pad out in front of where the shop will be. Hoping to get my footing and foundation poured before it gets to cold here.

Starting to scrape topsoil this weekend for this project. still undecided if I want the loft area or just use standard trusses across the whole roof for one uniform roof line.
