I think if you replace the cord, the outlets, the wiring inside and the case with better parts, it will be fine.

I would probably just buy a 250’ roll of 12/2. That should get you 4 outlets 20A each. If you need 240V on the other side, I would probably do the subpanel. I am just a DIYer not an electrician but I have run a few thousand feet of wire.

Assuming 4 post is the only option. If either 2 or 4 post are options, there are threads discussing the pros and cons of each. I definitely agree either is better than no lift.

I have seen parking lifts in some condo buildings. Not sure if they are made by the usually lift makers, some of whom make homeowner grade parking lifts. Some are single post. No idea of the dimensions, though.

Have to look at drive through widths as well with trucks but you can fold the mirrors in. Maybe the 14k lifts have more suitable dimensions than the 8-9K lifts.

The Forge are lighter so the 8ah won’t tire you with the grinder but it is still bulky if that is an issue.

For me $25 per AH is too much. I have 2 Forge 12AH and 2 Forge 8AH. Bought them on sale and paid $15 per AH or maybe slightly less. Wait for a sale. They are better. I notice particularly with my pack out M18 vacuum box.
