Hammer ID Time...OR, Maybe Clamp ID Time?? Please help me ID this anomaly.

I picked this up yard saling last weekend, and have no idea what it was intended for? Has a hammer look, but also splits at the top via wing nuts and studs. Pretty weird. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Can you help me ID this "thing"?

I got this with a bunch of other tools at a sale last weekend. I have no clue what it is? I thought it was possibly a flag pole holder? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are these firemen prying type tools?

I got these last week in a lot of other tools. Does anyone know exactly what type of tools they are? The spanner style tool on the top is marked "allen" with the # 5 on one side and New York and Chicago on the other. Is it some sort of hydrant or water key? Any info would be much obliged.

Found this strange hammer while thrifting today. Anyone help ID its intended use?

I stumbled upon this beauty while at the local flea market today. Anyone know it's intended use? I thought it was a dead blow style hammer, but just missing the cap on the one end. It may be but this is a heavy hammer and unless the piece that would fit over it was super strong you'd be...

Looking for some advice on broadcasting a digital radio signal over a CCTV system

I work in a prison as a Correctional Officer/Electronics Tech in a state prison. 99.99% of my job deals with data lines, networking issues, printers etc. etc. Well, recently they threw the CCTV system we have in the facility onto our laps since the contractor we had that dealt with all things...

How to tell if my mig welders regulator is bad??

I have owned my Lincoln SP100 for over 20 years with the same regulator and today I was using the welder just fine, but after I ate lunch and went back at it the welder would not allow the gas to pass through the gun. The bottle is half full per the gauge and if I remove the regulator and open...

I moved into a place in November with a decent 2 car garage but I have a plethora of tools, tool boxes, signage and some storage cabinets that I need to organize and need some advice. Probably my best "free" score to date

My wife and I have been planning to pick up bunk beds for my sons bedroom from a woman she works with for a couple of months. We finally had a chance to get them yesterday and that's where the magic happened. I saw this little gem on the workbench of the woman's husband my wife works with and...

Gotta love it when your co-workers help you score a wilton vise

I got an email from a co-worker/good friend of mine Monday afternoon with a craigslist link for a wilton vise. I picked up the phone twenty seconds after reading the ad and two hours and $25 later I scored this gem. The seller was retired from dupont and got it some years ago when they closed...

Who made the tool box I just bought??

I bought this yesterday at the local flea market for $30. He was asking $45, I offered $25 and we agreed on $30. It's not a lightweight box, but I can't find any #'s or previous decals to let me know who made it. Anyone wanna help a tool brotha out??

    German hammers...need help ID'ing them

My father-in-law got these at the local fleemarket today. I am not sure what they were intended for, but at $2 he had to have them. I think the markings say GD(possibly CD?) on the top of the hammer. You can clearly read Germany on the bottom.

Vintage Wallace table saw with base

I'm going to take a look at this tomorrow. I am really interested in the table/base to make a stout workbench from and would really like to restore the saw, but I have ZERO room for it. Not to mention, I'm about as handy as a foot when it comes to wood working. I've never heard of these saws...

    Cool vise/stand combo on eprey

It's WAY overpriced IMO, but still a cool vintage chunk of iron ore. Do you think the stand was specifically made for this vise or another maker or meant for a completely different tool? The 104 (not 401) is a 43#er so the stand has to be on the smaller side as well...

2" thick 800# welding table in NJ for $250

http://southjersey.craigslist.org/tls/4554675772.html If you are in the market for a table here you go. You'd never be able to build one close to that price. Those holes will come in handy if you do a lot of fab work.

Saw this vise at a thrift store. Repaired or original?

I have never seen one that looks like this. The welds are super clean, and it seems like a lot of work to beef up a smaller vise. Sorry for the crappy pics, but I only had my cell phone with me and it's far from smart. It has Columbian engraved into it. The place is asking $35 but I can...
