Looking for Advice on buying used Air Compressor

Looking at a couple of used air compressors and not being very knowledgeable on the subject thought I’d ask for some assistance! Price is very close for both of these. Assuming they both operate as they should, what’s the better choice? Thanks!

    Patching Concrete Floor

I re-plumbed my house, and busted up the concrete floor to install new drain lines replacing the disintegrating 1955 iron pipe. I now need to patch up the floor. It is about 4" thick. Which bag of Quikrete should I use? There are a surprisingly large number of products to choose from. Thanks

    Irish Setter Boots on Amazon

Not sure why, but there are some Irish Setter winter boots on Amazon the cheapest they have ever been. I just ordered a pair of 1400 gram Snow Trackers for $87. I have looked at these boots many times and have never seen them for less than about $150.

    Garage Organization Categories

Moving into a new garage (and house) soon, and will have much more room to get organized. I may have been accused of over analyzing things a time or two, but so be it. If I'm not home and the wife needs something, I like to be able to say "Go to the red shelf and find the toolbox labeled...

How to insulate my new garage...

Closing on a house with a 24x30 detached garage in September. I have been doing a little research on how to insulate the 24x30. The walls are insulated, but no roof insulation, so is not very usable in the winter here in Minnesota. It has soffit and roof vents. My primary question: Is there a...

    Garage Door Opener help please.

My brother-in-law (that I work for) just bought a new shop (built in 1985). It has a garage door opener that has the old 3 button controller kind of like this: BUT, has no working remote openers to put in vehicles. The shop has a 20' ceiling, so we haven't climbed up to look at the opener...

    Stuck jigsaw shaft

Had a friend give me a Milwaukee 6256 jigsaw because the end of the cord was cut off. I fixed the cord, but it has been sitting around for a while, and the shaft that goes up and down is frozen. I sprayed some penetrant on it, but no go so far. Before I start pounding on it, or disassembling...

What's best way to make a stable AND mobile workbench

I just put this bench together for almost free. Top is an old dining room table, and the legs were from a "Free" pile on the side of the road. It is not real heavy duty, but will be used mostly for building ******** (Bean Bag) Boards, so it will serve that purpose well. I would like to add...

Black & Decker Drill Press - any good?

Can anyone tell me if this drill press is worth owning for $80 or less. Looking for a reasonably priced one for my garage (not professional use, just a tinkerer) and saw this on craigslist including the vise.

What is smallest reasonably priced Air Compressor worth owning?

I know when it comes to air compressors, generally bigger is better, but I am a renter with limited space and limited budget. Looking for something for basic auto maintenance, impact wrench, weekend warrior DIY type stuff. Just for example, this is probably about as big as I want to go for...

Working on Small Engines - What do I Need?

We just recently moved from a single car garage to a 2 car garage house, and I have a little more room to tinker, but still not that much (park 1 vehicle inside). I work in the lawn and landscape industry, and usually get laid off for 2-3 months each winter. I try to spend some time ice...
