    Epoxy Cracked Toilet Bowl

I over tighten the toilet bowl and it cracked. Was replacing the wax ring due to a leak. Now it's leaking again, not as bad this time. Only one question, can I seal this back up with epoxy after taking it apart to get everything straight?

This one I bring you today is mostly wood working tools but he does many other types. He is related to tool makers and suppliers which he goess...

    Garage Journal Deserves Better

I don't wish to upset people that obviously have put a lot of effort into bringing this great forum to so many. But this forum has problems. I'm not a computer geek but I think it would be called the Software. I know there are other formats that work much better because I belong to one at least...

WTB or Trade for Plomb 4001JT

I'm looking for the extra long arms for my Plomb wheel puller. I have everything else in the set but the JL legs should fit trucks and bigger wheels I think. At any rate my set is not complete without them. If you have these legs and are willing to sell or trade them please contact.

Used Tool Source West Of Baltimore

I found a shop that sells used tools about an hour from me. Had a really great time there this week. I Think I spent 3 hours going through as much as I could. Bought a bunch of stuff to fill voids in my collection. Here are some pics, not all by any means, of what this place is like. This is...

Can Somebody Teach Me How To Make A Hammer Handle?

I tried to make a store bought replacement handle fit an old hammer head I have some years ago. I've tried to fit handles before in axes and various hammers. I've never been satisfied with the results. My last one was at least usable but I end up using too many wedges and sometimes nails to make...

Kit Wrenches, Auto Kit and others

I have a small collection of wrenches made for carrying in one's automobile. I think these were a popular kit sold to owners of cars many years ago. The oldest may be the Auto-Kit set. I've seen old ads for them but don't know of the history myself. The fact they are made with Vanadium...

    Old Puller

I have lots of pullers. Not all old but a few are. I just got this a week ago. I have seen many of these sets over the years and this one was the most complete and perfect condition one of these I recall. It also has the box, always a plus in my book. This is a Plomb 4001A. I remember...

Found Rockwell Drill Press at Flea Market

After the first cleaning with WD-40 but I found Kroil oil cleaned a little better. It seems in excellent shape. Bushings look good. I don't want to take it down to bare metal with acid and am thinking a good cleaning with Pine Sol might be the better way to go. Don't think I have to paint...

    Another Mystery Tool

I have one of these. I know it is somehow used to hang car doors or to straighten them. Not sure which. How is this tool used?

    Another Marylander

Hi, I don't know why but I missed the intro forum so here I am finally. I've followed this list for some time but only posted recently. I've had some commercial garage experience but not much, mostly Taxi Cab repair. I have my tools these days in a storage unit, small, but I'm able to build...
