12,000 sq ft exterior slab - tri siloxane?

Looking to reseal the concrete circle and pads around my house. It’s about 12k sq ft total. My concrete contractor said to use tri siloxane from a local masonry company. Guessing I’ll need a 55 gallon drum. The slabs are 3 different pours in 3 different years. If possible, I’d like to even out...

Reduce orange peel during epoxy application

Hi all, I could use some advice/tips. I'm going to be laying down Sherwin MacroPoxy on a new slab. I had the concrete shot blasted and is ready for epoxy. The last time I did this it left an orange peel texture from the roller. I think I was using a 3/8 or 1/2 nap roller. I'm thinking that is...

    Hairline cracks.....

I'm going to do epoxy but have some hairline cracking. Ok, maybe some are more than hairline, but they are small. Will 2 coats of epoxy fill them in? Or do I have to fill them with something else. They are too small for play sand to go in them.

    Simplifying search function?

Just a quick administrative question. Is there a simple way to search for threads with images of epoxy floors? There's a thousand threads of epoxy floors, but a ton of them are text heavy with little to no pics.

    Outdoor sealer

What product should I use to seal an outdoor parking slab. I would prefer to tint it, but cost is a consideration. I do not want water to penetrate the slab.

    Sherwin Williams Macropoxy or ArmourSeal?

I don't post much, but I have read a lot of epoxy threads. I also understand there are very supportive vendors here and don't mean to offend anyone by bringing up a non-supporting vendors product. However, a good friend of mine is the manager of a Sherwin store and has offered a discount and is...

    Bought a building. Concrete questions...pics!

I'm looking for opinions/advice on a concrete parking area, and thought this may be the best place to ask. I bought a building for my business, and it comes with a unique basement. The building was built in 1926 as a service station. The building measures about 60x30 ft. The basement is 60x60...

Having a exterior slab poured ......

I would like to know what opinions are out there for an exterior slab. It's will be about 2300 sq ft. It's the area in front of the garage, which includes a turn around area. I'm planning on getting 3500 psi concrete, and would prefer tooled control joints. I would like a lightly brushed finish...

    Convert 220 to 110 ?

Convert 240 to 120 ? Hi all. I live next to a river in central MN and use a sprinkler pump for my irrigation system, sucking water from the river. It uses a 220v circuit with the plug pictured below: I have made an ice rink on the river which is a lot of fun. However, when it gets dark, the...

I've had this sitting in the garage for over a year. It's a Mighty Demon 650 cfm carb. Downleg boosters, vacuum secondaries, dual feed kits and variety of secondary springs included. I have a '64 Chevy pickup that I bought it for. I bought the wrong one and tried to make it work. It has vacuum...
