Sealer / coating for new concrete floor

Hey all I am building a new garage in a couple months and want to coat the floor. I am not sure what products are best used with new concrete. The floor will not see harsh abuse. The main reason for coating it will be for ease of cleaning, occasional spills, saw dust etc.

    Conventional split or mini split??

Hey guys been a good while since I’ve posted. Asking for feedback specifically from anyone in northern Ohio. I am designing a new garage with a second floor office. Wanting to add heat and a/c. A mini split would certainly have the advantage of not running a gas line but how well do they really...

Think I am going to start my flooring today

Well to say the least I am way behind schedule on my garage renovation project. I was sidelined in January when a pipe in the house froze and burst flooding the basement. Throw in 2 months of reconstruction for that alone with general life duties and here we are. These things have been...

    New miter saw stand

Started building a stand for my new saw today. The working height is 36-1/2" which matches my DeWalt TS and the flip down assembly table I built the other day. The miter saws table drops down 5" for storage in the cabinets I am building. The TS and Miter saw simply roll into the bottomless...

    Awesome lumber yards

So I went out today to buy the materials for my cabinets. Really disappointed in the quality of the materials from the big box stores. The good old days of lumber yards are few and far between. Today I called on a lumber store that I though was primarily hardwood and millwork only. I asked if...

    Cabinet Layout Opinions

Hey Guys. While I am waiting for a new overhead door I am reworking my cabinet design for the garage. Originally I was going for a slab look with MDF and have decided to go back to cope and stick plywood panel doors. I have hidden some of the doors for clarity. The cabinets span 16' 10" and...
