    Snap-on date code

I have a small pair of snap on dikes that I am trying to figure out the date code. To me it looks like a mirrored version of 1949, as it faces the wrong way compared to the charts I've seen. The "A" on the left side of the picture is part of USA, for orientation purposes.

    Craftsman V-series clearance

Wonder if Craftsman is discontinuing their V series, or is Ace no longer carrying them, or is it just my local Ace hardware, because all their V series stuff is on clearance. 1/4" flex head ratchets are $25

    Age of this ratchet

Found this little ratchet this week, I looked online and from what I could find the date code should be between the on and off, but on mine it's blank. There does look like what could be an "E" on the handle of it. I don't know if that's a date code or represents something else. Anyone know?

    SK without COO

Looking at some SK sockets to purchase, they are the older style where they taper(for lack of a better word) towards the opening... Or maybe rounded would be a better term.... They just have SK with the part number (40134, etc). Are these favor made in France? Or are they U.S.? Thanks

    Craftsman USA tools soon?

Craftsman has an unveiling event on the 15-17th of this month. I'm wondering if their FB page dropped a hint as to what their unveiling. The Walter Callaway post mentions how he has been told for a while that USA tools were coming back. Craftsmans reply to his comment is "the wait is almost...

    Help with COO

Hi everyone, Curious if there is a way to know the COO of powertools that are unmarked as to where they were made. For example, while at garage sales, I have seen Milwaukee tools marked made in the US, I have seen some marked made in China, but most that I see are not marked. Are those...
