Starrett was sold to a private equity firm. There goes the finest tool maker in the world. I doubt it will be long until the factory in Athol is shuttered, workers laid off, and all production “offshored” to China. Hope I’m wrong

Black and Decker used to make a yellow-gold/black recip saw that looked kind of like the DeWalt reciprocating saw. Does anyone have one of these that maybe they'd be willing to sell?
Does anyone recall a Black and Decker reciprocating saw that was painted dark gold with a black rubber front grip? My father had one when I was growing up and seem to recall it being a B&D.
