I live fairly close to the old Peterson vise grip plant. Seen this on fbm appears to be never assembled vise grips. I have never seen a lot of parts like this for sale before. Thinking about grabbing these and putting some together. Has anyone ever done some thing similar to this?
I acquire some wrenches over the weekend. One of them was wrapped in surgical tape as well as an extension. I have never seen this before. Not sure if it’s for working in the hot or cold or improve grip. Not sure what other purpose it would serve other than preventing rattling in a truck tool...
Does anyone have any experience making soft jaws for a vise? I have a couple of pairs of these slip over ones and I don’t care for how they perform. Thoughts on if brass, copper, aluminum or even oak would be the best choice?
I have purchased several tool boxes this year on market place and garage sales. There were only a handful of things that I was after but now have duplicates of lots of things. I filled out my home box.then truck tools set of basic hand tools. I then toss all the pure junk in a box to be donated...
Picked these up today at a flea market. All came out of the same 5 gallon bucket.i have picked up others in the past with handles in rough shape.have never seen one as bad as the one second from the left. Is there anyway to confirm that it is a snapon?
