    Picked this up the other day,after brushing the lettering it read USMC,which in this case stands for United Shoe Machinery Corporation. It’s a trimming tool used to cut pieces of leather trim in shoe making production. Some say it makes a good wood working tool,I intend to find out.

    Scrap pile rescues

    Picked up two Rockwell heavy duty fastener driver drills,two Rockwell 100m routers and a Black and Decker 454 3 inch belt sander. All were dropped off at the scrap metal bin at the transfer station. The all work.

    Found this in a Kennedy tool box I bought recently. There was a large cross section of tools and items in it. This is one that had my perplexed. Google says it’s a key and I suppose it is but I’ve never seen anything like this before. It has what looks like threads on it but it’s flat. Any ideas?

    Gyro vise swivel lock

    I picked up a gyro vise free,the only issue is the swivel lock is missing. Searches come up empty on any for sale so I will have to make one. Does anyone have this part and can you give me measurements? I could make something without them but it would go quicker if I had dimensions to work with.
