Picked this up the other day,after brushing the lettering it read USMC,which in this case stands for United Shoe Machinery Corporation. It’s a trimming tool used to cut pieces of leather trim in shoe making production. Some say it makes a good wood working tool,I intend to find out.

Picked up two Rockwell heavy duty fastener driver drills,two Rockwell 100m routers and a Black and Decker 454 3 inch belt sander. All were dropped off at the scrap metal bin at the transfer station. The all work.

This Pratt and Whitney cast iron machinist level was added to my garage inventory today. It came from an estate sale. I need a good level to check my lathe and milling machine and this will fit the bill.

Acquired a cast iron surface plate,12x12 inch recently scraped and flaked. I like the capacity to set a magnet indicator base on the surface plate when using it.

Found this in a Kennedy tool box I bought recently. There was a large cross section of tools and items in it. This is one that had my perplexed. Google says it’s a key and I suppose it is but I’ve never seen anything like this before. It has what looks like threads on it but it’s flat. Any ideas?

purchased an old Rockwell belt sander today. Just down the road from my house and the price was very good. 100$ and now I have my long sought after Rockwell belt sander.

I picked up a gyro vise free,the only issue is the swivel lock is missing. Searches come up empty on any for sale so I will have to make one. Does anyone have this part and can you give me measurements? I could make something without them but it would go quicker if I had dimensions to work with.
