WTB: 7/16" CAPSTOP Gearwrench ratcheting combination wrench

Remember the old capstop gearwrenches? There's a little ring in the box end that's keeps fasteners from pushing all the way though. Lost my 7/16 a couple years ago, never got around to finding a replacement. I've got a bunch of old American made sockets and wrenches, mostly Craftsman to trade...

Ellis Dividing head with a 6" 4 jaw chuck

I don't know much about dividing heads, just that I picked this up at an auction for what looked like a good price. Looks to be in good condition. I cleaned the chuck up with vinegar and it works perfectly, though it's a little pitted. Everything moves and work and seems to work. Includes...

Assorted old tools, Wrenches, hole saws, saw set, others

Nothing too fancy here, but a little bit of everything. Let me know if the images are showing too large, I'm working on a desktop, and I can't tell if photobucket is re-sizing them small enough. Contact me for shipping costs USA hex drive socket set. No name that I could find, just "Made in...

SK Comfort grip 1/2" drive 17" long Breaker Bars. (7 available)

Great, almost unused looking condition. Although I have the say the finish on these is much rougher on these than I expect from SK. Makes me wonder if they were for the military or some sort of government contract. Some are marked "SK" and some are marked "SK Tools". They're all marked...

Craftsman RHFT, Plomb, Facom ratchets and breaker bar

Plomb 3/8" ratchet Pretty decent condition. (see pictures) Works perfectly, but it has a fair bit of wear. NOTE!! There were initials engraved on the cover plate, so I just flipped the plate around so they're out of sight (inside the ratchet). It looks fine now, but I'm not trying to pass it off...

    Easco/Armstrong warranty address

So, I have an Easco 3/8" universal joint in need of replacing... All I could find was that Apex owns them, and that Armstrong might replace it. But is there a simple address I can drop it in the mail and send it to? I never get to any Armstrong dealers, and it's not worth the hassle to track...

Proto/Facom black finish round head ratchets. 1/4" 3/8" and 1/2"

Good used condition. I haven't had them that long. These really are nice ratchets, but I came up with some comfort grip Facoms, and I'm just not using these knurled handle versions anymore. I posted a thread about them when I got them...

Anyone else using vintage power tools?

I know tools like this get brought up now and then, but I was just curious how many of us have a few of these things around. I used to buy every old power tool I could get my hands on for a while, but a while back I sold all the stuff I didn't need. I still have a few that I think are every bit...

    Anybody using Ridgid's Jobmax tools?

I just noticed these today. Never heard of them before, despite having a Ridgid 12v drill and impact driver. The ratchet, right angle drill and reciprocating saw caught my attention the most. I hardly need any of them really, but I do have the batteries already.... The reciprocating saw...

Semi deep impact, vs shallow and deep

So I just ordered a Milwaukee M18 Fuel, 3/8 impacts, and I need to pick up some sockets to go with it. ( I have plenty of 1/2" but I've never owned a 3/8" impact before) I'm mainly looking at Grey Pneumatic and Sunex, but I noticed I could get a set of semi deep sockets for about the same...

Inch pounds to foot pounds? Well this is underwhelming...

So, I picked up a Ridgid 12v impact driver and drill kit yesterday. My first ever impact driver, and I'm certainly impressed when it comes to driving screws. It'll sink large deck screws deep into a 2x4 without hardly slowing down. But when it comes to nuts and bolts... I guess I was expecting...

    Anybody recognize this floor jack?

I picked this up a while ago, and it's needing a rebuild. I'm guessing it's just a generic import, but does anybody recognize the brand? Most of the label is missing. Any way to tell what kind of seals I need before tearing into it?

2 pairs of older Petersen, American made Vise Grips

Not really sure what a fair price is for these... Asking $16 shipped for both. SOLD SOLD SOLD They're pretty clearly well used, but they do both work perfectly. I don't actually think it's humanly possible to hurt Pertersen Vise Grips. I just have more than I need. Price is for the pair, one...

A mini review of the new(ish) Tekton combination wrenches.

So I posted last week asking about Genius combination wrenches, but by the time the dust settled, I decided on trying Tekton instead. They look identical to my eye (I would bet they're manufactured by Genius for Tekton, but I did nothing more than pull that idea out of my ***) They were $45...

Did I find something good? NOS square Snapon hard handles

So I picked these up pretty cheap yesterday. I thought they might just have some value... I can't find any like it on ebay, and searching the part number doesn't turn up much. (SSD6R-G-1R ) So what says the forum? Much of any collector value here?

    Anybody using Genius combination wrenches?

So I'm looking for a new set of metric combination wrenches... Ideally something in the $60-$70 range, so there's a lot of choices, but not too many big sets. This is looking like the best option so far, with Tekton following not too far behind. Kobalt is another option, but that set stops at...
