    Benchmade recondition and sharpen service

Just an FYI if anyone has a Benchmade.... I have had this Benchmade since my last tour in Iraq 2006-07, used the ever living **** out of it for 15 months but did not use it a whole lot since then, I usually just carry and Leatherman. They offer lifetime recon service, I used the local gun shop...

    Tekton Auto wire stripper

Just got an email and decided to try this style. I have and like the Ideal style, but you gotta line up the wire with the proper size on the anvil. Giving this style a go, plus made in Germany. Any experience with this style and especially with whoever makes it for Tekton...

    Multi Tool...Belt grinder version....awesome....

This is a tool that I say "where you been all my life!". Awesome first impressions. I talked to them and they were not sure about a low speed Delta that I came across for free, but I figured why not. It's only 1800 RPM but it still does a great job on my first few tests....I actually might...

Sell me on the use of cross peen hammers

Got the Tekton mini sledge set and very happy with them. Now thinking of the cross peen set. I own an old Cman 24oz one and have rarely used it, but I'd rather have and never need...... So tell me some good uses for cross peen! This is the set I'm thinking of...

Milwaukee chainsaw rebuild....bar tension stud pulled out

Kind of a weakness in the design maybe, the studs are molded into the plastic of the housing, gotta replace it if they pull out. Cost about 75ish bucks and came with both sides of the housing. Lots of patience, pics, magnetic pick up tool, and torx screwdrivers later and I'm back in business.

    JAGMTE Scepter fuel can stuff

FINALLY scored some scepter cans on book of Faces, then stumbled on this company for accessories. Got the 2 handled strap, cap wrench, and fuel spout. Pretty good stuff, great company that even sent a small bag of Haribo gummy bears! I'll be getting the straps for the other cans I have for sure!

    Free Orange Thread Locker

I did this "course" a few weeks back and actually got the free orange thread locker. The orange is supposed to have the strength of red with ease of removal of blue. Been using the orange for a while, but have not removed anything with it yet. It's a pretty big container they give you too...

    Sad day for HJE

Jeff posted in the 2025 HJE, but think its worth it's own thread. Never met him in person but still felt like I lost a friend when I saw this.

Well, I USED to like Tekton.....

What kind of sick and twisted person would buy sets that PURPOSELY leave out sizes?!?! Disgusting....... :geek: :ROFLMAO: They now sell "common sizes" kits. Good thinking but it would drive me NUTS! o_O https://www.tekton.com/search?page=1&keywords=Common+Size

    Depstech articulating head borescope

Second Depstech I've owned and really happy with both. We have a Subi with 0 compression in cylinder 3. Went through leakdown, holds 10pis at 90psi. Can hear intake valves opening and closing, no sign of headgasket issue. So rather than pulling the exhaust to look at the exhaust valves, I used...

    Snap On warranty online....

No clue if this is old news, but I just submitted a warranty on a pair of pliers online. First time I have seen a method, always said you had to call them in first, but I did have to use my account. Never asked for a pic pr anything, just how I bought it.... we will see how it goes. NEVER had...

Tekton rebuild kits even include tools!

3/8 rebuild kit comes with a T8 bit for the screws. Thought it was pretty cool they include that! Probably have rebuild 3 or 4 in the 5 years we have had Tekton in our carts at school, they have held up well against the animals. Never saw a bit in the previous kits.

1/2 drive Koken zeal vs Astro Nano

Anyone have both? Wondering if the Koken are shorter and/or thinner wall. I'm thinking of grabbing the Kokens, just wondering.....and it will help justify them, although I already know where this will go for me!

Another KR?....and KR655 bottom slide question....

It's like these damn things follow me home! KR 650/55 I grabbed last night to add to my KR harem, 1986 date! Wicked cool guy who bought it new and is now 76, stories and talk was worth the price! On a serious note, anyone have a part number for the very bottom drawer slides on the 655? They...

    Milwaukee M18 6.0 vs. 8.0

Both the 6.0 HO and the 8.0 HO are REALLY close to the same size dimensionally, so is there any reason to go 6.0 instead of the 8.0? I got a bunch of both with the HD deal over Christmas, just trying to justify keeping some of the batteries.

Matco BJ tool is a beast....

2009 Dodge 3500 farm truck. I had a girl in my Auto class remove these, the top one actually popped out in one fell swoop after loading the **** out of it. To be fair, she was using a 24" SO ratchet, but it made these a breeze.
