    Oxalic Acid harmful to aluminum.....

    I have used Oxalic acid to remove rust on chrome fenders and steel rims and various other chrome bits with great success . I am hoping for the same results on this bare metal hub... Its pretty rusty but my question is .... will the oxalic acid weaken the alloy rim or hurt the spokes or anything...
